Veterans Day Holiday Closings

Friday, November 10, 2023

Most Onslow County offices and operations will be closed on Friday, November 10, 2023, in observance of Veterans Day.

Among the closures is the Onslow County Landfill for Friday. The landfill and convenience sites will operate as normal on Saturday.

Onslow Library branches and the Onslow County Museum will also be closed on Veterans Day, but both will observe regular weekend hours.

Onslow County Sheriff's Office administrative offices will be closed on Friday, but Deputies will be answering emergency calls as will the Onslow County Animal Services Officers.

Onslow County Department of Social Services will be closed, but if you need to make a report of child or elder abuse, neglect, exploitation, or dependency you can call the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office at 910 455-3113 and ask for the on-call social worker.
