The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit conducted a four-month long investigation into the drug trafficking activities of individuals living at 1000 US Highway 17 S, Holly Ridge. With the assistance of the NCIS Special Operations Unit, the Jacksonville Police Department, the Holly Ridge Police Department, and the Pender County Sheriff’s Office the investigation culminated with the service of two search warrants on October 19, 2023. As a result of the investigation and search warrants, investigators seized over 30 firearms, approximately 30 grams of Methamphetamine, 80 grams of Marijuana, one gram of heroin, one stolen boat, one stolen vehicle, one stolen trailer, and various items of stolen military equipment; additionally, $22,500.00 US Currency was seized as assets of the illegal drug trade.
