Commissioner Mark Price Takes Oath of Office

Commissioner Mark Price took the Oath of Office at an Onslow County Board of Commissioners Special Meeting on Wednesday, December 12, 2022. Commissioner Price fills the seat vacated by former Chariman Jack Bright and he will occupy that seat for the remainder of the term, which ends in December 2024.

Commissioner Price previously served on the Onslow County Board of Commissioners from 2016-2022 and was recommended by the Onslow County Republican Party to fill the vacancy. Under North Carolina General Statute 153A-27.1 (d), the Onslow County Republican Party’s Executive Committee had 30 days from December 2, 2022 to make a recommendation to the Onslow County Board of Commissioners.
