Monster Bash_News Flash

Onslow County Parks and Recreation's (OCPR) Annual Monster Bash will be taking place this weekend on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 5-9PM at Onslow Pines Park located at 1250 Onslow Pines Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540.

The community is invited to this fun, free, and family-friendly Halloween event. Everyone is encouraged to dress in costume with the opportunity to sign up for a costume contest. This can be done individually or as a family, pets included, at the DJ booth. Pumpkin painting will be available for the first 300 children and OCPR has partnered with Martial Arts and More, who will be providing a Halloween maze that can be enjoyed for a $5 entry fee.

Recreation Program Supervisor, LaQuesha Cadwallader says, "Monster Bash is a safe and fun way to celebrate Halloween, and our staff love to see all the creative costumes each year."  Bring your blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy the movie Hocus Pocus showing at sunset. This is a trunk-or-treat event so be sure to bring buckets to collect candy from over 15 trunks.
