Congratulations to Mr. Kevin Turner, the newly appointed Onslow County Tax Administrator. The Onslow County Board of Commissioners appointed Mr. Turner to the position at the July 18, 2022 regular meeting to fill the remainder of the term vacated by the recently retired Harry Smith.
Kevin Turner was later joined by his family for an oath taking ceremony where he was officially sworn in. Mr. Turner has 19 years of experience in the with the Onslow County Tax Office where he most recently served as the Appraisal Supervisor. Prior to that he was a Detective with the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office.
The Onslow County Tax Administrator fulfills the roles of Tax Assessor and Tax Collector which are required by North Carolina law.
