ONSLOW COUNTY, NC—The Onslow County Museum is proud to announce the debut of its latest changing exhibition “You Are Here: Travel and Transportation in Onslow County.” From the sea to the skies, the new exhibit will focus on the evolution of travel throughout Onslow County’s history. Artifacts on display will showcase various modes of transportation including one of Henry Ford’s Model T’s and a large, wooden luggage cart once used for carrying baggage between rail lines.
A Grand Opening Reception and Family Free Day will be hosted Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 10 a.m. –
4 p.m. (floating) to celebrate the opening of “You Are Here.” The museum is located at 301 South Wilmington Street in Richlands.
