The Onslow Board of Commissioners are scheduled to meet at 6PM, Monday, November 15, 2021 in the Commissioners’ Chambers at the Onslow County Government Center, 234 NW Corridor Blvd, Jacksonville, NC.

There are two proclamations on the agenda, Veterans Recognition Month and National Adoption Awareness Month.

The annual audit for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2021 has been completed and the independent accounting firm of Elliott Davis, LLC will make a presentation to the Board of Commissioners regarding the annual audit for the County.

There are two public hearings scheduled, both regarding zoning. The first includes text amendments to the recently adopted Onslow County Zoning Ordinance. The second public hearing is regarding zoning map amendments.

Under general items are two items concerning closing out completed projects. Also under general items is review of the Detention Center Medical Plan, Adoption of the Schedule of Values for the 2022 tax revaluation, and updating the NC DHHS State Certification and Authorizations Forms for the Onslow County Department of Social Services.

The Board of Commissioners are to consider appointments to the Museum Advisory Board and the Community Child Protection/Child Fatality Review Team.
