Mosquito Control

Onslow County Mosquito and Vector Control works year round in effort to help protect residents from mosquito borne diseases and potential flooding by our rivers and creeks. During the late fall, winter, and early spring our crews work diligently to clear our rivers and their tributaries of natural debris such as trees, stumps, branches.
In the late spring, summer and early fall their efforts concentrate on pesticide work to help control adult mosquitoes and their larvae. We also work in conjunction with the USDA Wildlife Service in trapping and removal of beavers and their dams.
