Permits for Lodging

Lodging establishments provide room and board to the public for pay. A permit is issued when the facility meets the requirements of the rules established by North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

Lodging establishments include hotels, motels, and inns. Establishments are inspected on a yearly basis. Grading is also based on a 10 point grading scale.
