Thank you in advance for your interest in volunteering! The OCPR youth baseball/softball/t-ball leagues rely on volunteer coaches for our teams.
PROCESS: All interested coaches must complete an application at onslow.recdesk.com. Once an application is complete, a background check will be conducted.
COACHING CLINIC: An OCPR coaching clinic will be held prior to the beginning of each athletic season. All coaches must complete the coaching clinic course requirement. This course requirement will cover the fundamentals of coaching, rules interpretation, and youth sport safety protocol (concussion awareness, etc.).
COACHING BADGE: Upon approval of a background check and fulfillment of the coaching course, a coaching badge will be assigned for the season. Only OCPR staff can assign a coaching badge. All badges must be returned following the conclusion of each season.
