Purpose
The
Eastern Carolina Workforce Development Board is a 28-member Board of Directors that governs the ECWDB in partnership with local elected officials. It is the designated administrative/fiscal agent for the Federal and State workforce development funds appropriated by the North Carolina Department of Commerce to operate employment and training services to a nine-county local area.
The ECWDB Board of Directors meets every two months on the first Thursday of that month on 6 p.m.
at the ECWDB offices at 1341 S. Glenburnie Road in New Bern, NC.
