Once a hearing is held to disclose the finding of facts and the responsible party is not in agreement with the findings, the aggrieved person(s) may appeal the decision to the Housing Board of Appeals.
The Housing of Board Appeals is a quasi judicial board consisting of five voting members representing the five Townships of Onslow County (Jacksonville, Richlands, Stump Sound, Swansboro, White Oak) and two At-Large alternates.
The Housing Board also acts as the appeals board for the Solid Waste Ordinance.
