Mark Price Recommended to Fill Onslow County Board of Commissioners Vacancy

The Onslow County Republican Party has recommended Mark Price to fill the vacant Onslow County Board of Commissioners seat. A Special Meeting is scheduled for 10AM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 for Mr. Price to take the Oath of Office.

Mark Price will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Jack Bright on December 2, 2022 and will occupy the seat for the remainder of that term, which ends in December 2024. Mr. Price has previously served on the Onslow County Board of Commissioners from 2016-2022.

Under North Carolina General Statute 153A-27.1 (d), the Onslow County Republican Party’s Executive Committee had 30 days from December 2, 2022 to make a recommendation to the Onslow County Board of Commissioners.
