Most Onslow County Government Offices will be closed Wednesday, November 24 through Friday, November 26, 2021 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The Onslow County Landfill will only be closed on Thursday, November 25.
The Onslow County Sheriff’s Office and Onslow County Emergency Services will continue to operate for emergency services calls, but administrative offices will be closed. The Department of Social Services will be closed but if there is a need to make a Child or Adult Protective Services report, please call the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office at 910 455-3113 and ask to speak to the social worker on-call.
The Albert J. Ellis Airport will be open and urges passengers to allow themselves some extra time at the airport due to holiday travel volume.
