Storytelling Kits

Great for parents, grandparents, daycare providers, day camps, babysitters, preschools and more. Bring the fun and creativity of storytime home! Storytelling kits come complete with everything you need to bring the joy and adventure of reading to young children.

Storytelling Kit Rules


  • Kits may be checked out for 14 days.
  • Patrons may check out 2 kits at a time.
  • Patrons must be 18 or older to check out a kit.
  • Kits accrue overdue fines of $0.50 per day.
  • Patrons are responsible for lost items.
  • Kits are inventoried at time of checkout and check in.

How to Checkout a Storytelling Kit


  1. Browse our collection of storytelling kits in the Library Catalog
  2. Click "Place Hold Request."
  3. Enter your Library Card Number and Password/PIN.
  4. Select your Pickup Location and Activation Date.
  5. Click "Submit Request."
Our automated notification system will alert you when the kit is ready for you to pick up at the branch location of your choice.
