Used Book Sales
The Friends of the Library host regular used book sales with all proceeds going to support the Onslow County Public Library. Donate your gently used books and make sure to shop for great deals on great titles. All proceeds directly support programs and services at your library. Book donations for the sale can be dropped off at your local branch library during normal hours of operation.
The Jacksonville Friends Used Book Sales are typically held over a three-day period (Thursday - Saturday) during the third week of February and September. A Members Only Preview Sale is generally held the first night on Thursday.
To become a member and take advantage of the first night's sale, sign up at the door for only $5 for an individual membership or $10 for a family membership. Regular sale times begin for the general public on the second and third days (Friday and Saturday) with one of those two days typically offering great buys such as special incentives on filling a bag of books for a nominal fee.
