Public Notice of Electronic Auction Sale

The Onslow County Board of Commissioners, at its meeting of July 17, 2017, authorized a Resolution to sell the following parcels of county-owned real estate by electronic auction:
​040012, 028966, 058808, 043837, 015422, 007411, 061966, 069126, 069587, 038425, 044385, 043514, 010081, 030898, 024190, 029515, 040755, 040756, 058128, 040507, 152316, 152594, 001138, 046638, and 012239.
​The electronic auction is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM August 21, 2017 and will end at 7:00 P.M. on September 1, 2017. The website address to view parcel information and bid is www.govdeals.com. Additional parcel information may be found at: http://onslowcountync.gov/770/Land---Real-Property
​The reserve price for each parcel will be the current tax value. All property will be sold “As Is, Where Is” and subject to any easements, rights of way, or encumbrances of record. A bid deposit is not required. Payment in full must be made electronically through the Gov Deals website.
​ After the auction, the high bid for each parcel will be reported to the Onslow County Board of Commissioners. The Board will accept or reject the bid within 30 days after the bid is reported to it. No sale may be completed until the Board has approved the high bid.
​ Upon final approval by the Onslow County Board of Commissioners, property will be transferred to successful buyer within 30 days by a North Carolina Special Warranty Deed. Buyer will be required to pay excise tax and deed recording fees.
​ The county reserves the right to withdraw any listed property from the auction at any time before the auction sale of that property.
