The Board of Adjustment hears and decides matters involving zoning in the County with respect to Special Use Permits, Variances and Appeals. 
 
The membership of the Board of Adjustment consists of five members from each of the townships in the County and two alternate at-large members.
 
 The Board of Adjustment meets the fourth Tuesday of every month at 6:30 pm in the Commissioners' Chambers of the Government Center.  When necessary due to case-load, they may also be scheduled to meet the second Thursday of the following month.
