What To Expect

Are you traveling internationally soon? If you are, we have an International Travel Clinic that can offer you vaccines to help you prepare for the best trip possible.

Our staff meets with each traveler to learn more about his/her plans, destinations, and activities while away. With this information, our team creates a health protection plan specific to the traveler including recommending immunizations and medications that will prevent illness and relaying travel advisories and up-to-date information.

The Travel Clinic Services Brochure (PDF) provides further information as well as the CDC guide sheet of immunizations for travelers.

Please note the Travel Clinic does not see patients that are pregnant or under the age of 12 years old.

Making an Appointment

Once individuals complete the linked Travel Questionnaire, our nursing staff will review the information and compile a list of recommended and required vaccines.

A staff member from Fees & Eligibility will call and review the cost of the vaccines and schedule the appointment.

For information or questions please call our Immunization Clinic at 910-347-2154 ext. 3992.

For general information on making appointments with the Health Department, please visit the Make and Get To Appointments section.
