Payment Methods

Tax payments may be made by cash, personal check, cashier's check, money order, credit card, debit card, or e-check.

By Mail

The easiest way to pay is by mailing the payment, along with the payment coupon, to:

In person payments can be made by cash, check, debit or credit card. Taxpayers are encouraged to bring their bill(s) with them when paying in person.

Drop-Box                                                                                                                                                                                  Check payments may be dropped in the Tax Office drop-box located at the entrance to the Onslow County Government Center at the above address.  Payments should include payment coupon and parcel number and be placed in an envelope.              (no cash please)
  

Debit/Credit Card or Electronic Check by Internet

 To pay online with a credit card or electronic check, access the Tax Office online payment page.
 
 The county has contracted with ACI Payments to process credit card and electronic check payments because the county is not allowed to absorb credit card or e-check processing fees. Official Payments charges a "convenience fee" for the service of processing the charge. Payment information will be reflected on the Internet within two business days.
 

Credit Card by Telephone

To pay with a credit card by phone, call ACI Payments directly at 800-272-9829. The jurisdiction code for Onslow County is 4333. For phone payments, you will need information on your bill including tax year, account number, bill number, and bill amount.
