Adult Cook Teams

Cook Team Registration: Sept. 16th - Oct. 23rd

Event Location: Onslow Pines Park - 1250 Onslow Pines Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540

  • Cook teams will be allowed to use overnight sleeping tents at Onslow Pines Park from Friday, Nov. 18th to Saturday, Nov. 19th. Tents CAN NOT be put up until after 9pm on Friday, Nov. 18th, and MUST BE packed up by 9am on Saturday, Nov. 19th.
  • Electricity is available, Parks and Recreation will reach out regarding electricity needs.
  • Cook teams will be required to arrive on Friday, Nov. 18th between 2-4pm, no entry until 9pm for arrivals after 4pm, and the event will conclude on Saturday, Nov. 19th around 12pm.
  • Event Breakdown: Cook team setup will need to be broken down by 12pm on Saturday, Nov. 19th. To allow festival attendees to exit safely, we ask that no cook teams try to leave the festival area until 12pm on Saturday, Nov. 19th. Onslow County Parks and Recreation will coordinate the exit of the cook teams from the festival area.
  • Security: Overnight security will be provided Nov. 18th-19th.
  • All cook teams are required to read and agree to the Coastal Pig-Out BBQ Festival rules, regulations, and cooking rules.
