The North Carolina Fire Code requires an operational permit be issued the following reasons before the use, occupancy or operation begins. Operational permits are valid for the condition they are issued for and only for the entity they are issued to. Operational permits can be found in the links to the right. A completed application should be submitted to central permitting at permitting@onslowcountync.gov.
