Stuffed Animal Sleepover
Jacksonville • Mar. 17; 5 p.m.
Have you ever wondered what happens when the library is closed? Bring your stuffed animal or baby doll for a Leprechaun Hunt sleepover! Join us for crafts and games Friday night, then return Saturday to see what your stuffy has been up to and if they were able to catch the leprechaun!

Join our friends form Onslow County Cooperative Extension, Richlands Elementary School, and Modern Tractor to learn about agriculture in Onslow county! Learn about local crops, farm animals, 4H programs, and you maybe even "touch a tractor"! We might have a special animal visitor or two!

Local beekeeping expert, Jessica Hawkins, will share the basics of beekeeping, including the importance of bees to the environment, the life cycle of a bee, and how you can help bees thrive in your own backyard. For families, ages 6+.

Growing A Pollinator Garden

Emilee Morrison from the Onslow county Cooperative Extension will share information about creating a pollinator garden to attract butterflies and bees. Participants will get hands-on experience helping to plant a garden in the Library's raised beds. for families, ages 6+.
